Who knew there were dinner shows in Alabama!? I love dinner shows, and was pleasantly surprised to find that not only did Alabama have multiple dinners shows, but such interesting and unique ones as well. If you’ve never been to one, you’re missing out. Check out one of these great theaters below and I’m sure you’ll be hooked in no time, as I was. If you’ve been to one before, share with us your experience below and let us know what your favorite one(s) are.
Address: Mobile Carnival Museum, 355 Government Street Mobile, AL 36602
Includes a tour of the Mobile Carnival Museum, unlimited wine bar, catered meal and 2.5 hours of hilarity and mystery by the Murder Mystery Detective Players. You had me at an unlimited wine bar- make sure to get an Uber! I haven’t seen any other dinner shows include a Museum tour, so that is definitely a unique experience.
Address: 104 North Main Street Enterprise, AL 36330
With several different shows throughout the year, this is a Broadway-styled theatre delivering you great food and great entertainment. There appears to be about 4 different shows, all very unique. This is the first dinner show that I’ve noticed offers Broadway Style theater.
Address: Redmont Hotel CURIO Collection by Hilton, 2101 5th Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35203
At The Dinner Detective shows, you’ll be charged with solving a challenging crime while dining on a fantastic dinner. The criminal is lurking among you, and you may find yourself as a Prime Suspect! The shows are geared toward adults and carry a PG-13 rating. Some mild content, loud noises, and adult humor will be present. The Dinner Detective has dinner shows in several States across the Southeast and all appear to have rave reviews.
Dinner shows are perfect for date nights, or when you’ve got to line up a babysitter. Everything is in one place, so it reduces your transportation and meal/show time. It’s also a very engaging experience that will help you connect with your partner, friends or family. So next time, maybe skip the restaurant and movie and head to a Dinner Show instead.
