I am so excited for Friday, July 22nd’s 7pm debut of “Elena of Avalor”, Disney’s first Latina princess with a one-hour series premiere on the Disney Channel. As a mom of a young girl, I love that she is seeing the representation of different nationalities and races in popular culture. We are all beautiful, no matter the shade of our skin color. And we can all be princesses.

Disney was kind enough to send over a box of goodies to make the Series Premiere even more magical.

Below are some things we received in the box:

Meet Princess Elena of Avalor (poster)

And meet her sidekick, Skylar, a Jaquin – half Jaguar, half bird (craft)

Every Princess needs a Tiara or Crown (craft)

And you can’t be Elena without a Scepter – with a Fortune Teller Diamond (craft)

There’s also these really cool tattoos, featuring Elena’s crown, scepter, and more!

And this cool table runner that the guests can all color!

We have more crafts like a DIY flower headband and a bracelet.

We also have some party tableware like cups and napkins for popcorn and snacks.

And we received a banner to decorate the area.

We received this party board poster with more craft and recipe ideas.

Finally, we received this beautiful commemorative watercolor poster for the guests to take home. It’s even more beautiful in person.
