May is one of the hardest months on my budget. It’s filled with countless birthdays (including my own), Mother’s Day, Teacher Appreciation Day, and Graduations. Not only do I have to spend money, I have to figure out what to spend money on. Two of the hardest people to shop for are teachers and teens. With 20 or so kids in a class, I’m sure teachers have more than enough coffee mugs, apple-themed products, and chocolate. And well, teens are teens. Can I just gift wrap snapchat filters? I recently discovered the perfect gift for teachers and teens and just about anyone on my list – Chick-Fil-A gift cards!

Perfect gift for teachers and teens

I’ve yet to meet a teacher who doesn’t love CFA and they appreciate a gift card no matter the denomination. There is no denying teens are always happy with free food, especially when they’re off at college. Being able to grab a quick meal, in between finals and papers, can be a life saver. Not to mention almost all CFA locations offer free wi-fi.

Being frugal, I hate to waste money on gift card holders. No one ever keeps them. That’s when I remembered my stash of CFA small tortilla soup containers. They are perfect for gifting CFA gift cards. Well, after you’ve cleaned and dried them.

Just add some tissue paper and glitter or confetti to jazz it up. You can decorate the outside if you’d like. My daughter decorated this container for her teacher. It’s a great way to get the kids involved in the gift-giving process.  And that’s all there is to it. Easy-Peasy, practically free, and takes seconds to put together.

If you want, you can add some extra stuff – like a plush cow, a cellophane bag and ribbon or bow.
